Found this a really powerful novel and not at all what I expected. There's surprise after surprise and I didn't see any of it coming. It's also, ultimately, quite tragic (but not in a predictable way) and you might just need a tissue. The characters are brilliantly drawn and I found myself caring deeply about the 3 main protagonists and what happens to them. Love the writing style too. Gave an added dimension. A fantastic read, highly recommended. It's due out on 2nd April 2020 so order an advance copy if you can (Got mine from a proof party at a book festival with no expectation to write a review)
