Romantic Novelists' Association winners announced

The winners for the 2012 Romantic Novelists’ Association Awards have just been annouced.The winners were:


* Contemporary Romantic Novel of the Year Summer of Love by Katie Fforde (Arrow)
* Epic Romantic Novel of the Year The Kashmir Shawl by Rosie Thomas (HarperCollins)
* Historical Romantic Novel of the Year Highland Storms by Christina Courtenay (Choc Lit)
* Romantic Comedy Novel of the Year: Please Don’t Stop the Music by Jane Lovering (Choc Lit)
* Young Adult Romantic Novel of the Year Dark Ride by Caroline Green (Piccadilly Press)


Sarah Mallory was The RoNA Rose Award winner for The Dangerous Lord Darlington.

Karin Stoecker won the Life Time Achievement Award 2012

Vote for the Romantic Novelist of the Year Award

Each of these category winners will now go on to form the shortlist for the long-standing and hotly-contested Romantic Novel of the Year Award, which will be announced on 17th May.

For the first time in the awards’ 52 year history, members of the public can vote for their favourite book by visiting www.rna-awards.com. All voters will be entered into a draw to win an iPad2.
