Readers meet Peter James at Poole Library

On a blustery winter’s evening in January, over 70 readers braved the cold and the rain to Poole Library in order to meet best-selling author Peter James.

Readers at Poole Library were delighted to welcome Peter James for a ‘fantastic’, ‘entertaining’ and ‘very enjoyable’ evening. They said Peter is a warm and witty speaker with lots of anecdotes about his visits to crime scenes with Sussex Police, his work as a film producer and how he writes his books. At one point, whilst Peter was telling us about his latest book, we wondered whether his stalker was actually in the room with us…! One reader commented afterwards that Peter James was ‘a hugely entertaining speaker who showed his writing skills by teasing the audience’.
