National Reading Group Day guide for library staff available

The second National Reading Group Day is happening on Saturday 30 June. Taking place as part of Independent Booksellers Week, we’re working with The Booksellers Association to promote the Day to UK libraries booksellers and reading groups. We’ll be putting all the information that you need, together with the resources and offers, on Reading Groups for Everyone.

We’ve put together a guide for library staff which gives tips and ideas and also outlines some of the competitions and offers we’ve got coming up.

Libraries and booksellers across the country will be running events, displays and sessions on running and starting a reading group. Check here to find the libraries and bookshops taking part.

Radio 2 Book Club - Winter titles

The Winter season of the Radio 2 Book Club is out now, with brilliant brand-new fiction titles to discover. The BBC Radio 2 Book Club is on the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show. It features a wide range of titles and authors, recommending great reads from both new and much-loved writers, encouraging listeners to perhaps try out a genre they might not have read before, and share their opinions and insights on the titles and great reads they’re enjoying right now.
