Come along to Unbound Live! in Winchester

Calling all reading groups and book lovers. Come and be part of a crowd-funded publishing revolution with Unbound publishing.

Our Unbound Live! event at the Winchester Discover Centre on Thursday 24 January 2013 will be an evening of riotous literary entertainment as a range of authors go head-to-head pitching ideas for books they want to write.

Described as a ‘dragons den’ of literature, the evening will feature six authors and we’ll also be entertained by the best of Winchester’s young singer-songwriters. Get your tickets soon and join us for a great night of words at their finest.

Paul Kingsnorth – reading from The Wake, his stunning debut novel set in the years of the Norman invasion.

George Chopping – described by John Hegley as “the cream of Devon poets”, performing pieces from Smoking with Crohn’s.

David Bramwell (pictured left) – recounting his quest to prove modern life isn’t rubbish in his The No9 Bus to Utopia.

Lisa Gee – investigating the rollicking, tragi-comic life of a not-so-good 18th century poet, but very nice man, William Hayley in HayleyWorld.

Tamasin Day-Lewis (pictured above) – kitchen goddess, pitching her definitive collection of 100 tart recipes, Smart Tart.
