Wellesbourne Library Reading Group (for Children & Young People)

children, young people

Meets at Wellesbourne Library & Information Centre on

Run by Warwickshire Libraries Library service

We are looking for young people who enjoy reading to come along to our new Wellesbourne Library Reading Group. We set new themes each month and discuss our books in our monthly sessions. You're welcome to book or just drop in. The group is aimed at 9+ years - we may split into a younger/older age sessions. We will be sharing our favourite authors, finding new ones, and sometimes being persuaded to try new books which might be out of our comfort zone. With new genres and themes each week alongside some fun, free crafts. We aim to meet around every 4 weeks (usually 2nd Saturday of the month - term time only). As we are a new group we may find that the structure of these sessions change over the next few sessions, or more dates may be added depending on the age group of people involved. We're looking for volunteers to also help run the sessions so please get in touch if you'd like to join or volunteer. We meet 11am-12pm at Wellesbourne Library on a Saturday. Find out upcoming dates at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/drop-in-reading-group-wellesbourne-library-for-children-young-people-tickets-560352899607. Free, refreshments provided. Please contact [email protected] for further details, or just drop in on the day.
