Longhorsley Readers' Group

We are a group of up to 10, currently all women, founded in 2011 when I retired from full-time work and missed accessing my local authority's staff readers group. Original members all lived in or near our village, Longhorsley. Currently we have 9 members, all but one of whom have retired from full-time work. Most previously enjoyed careers in education. We have diverse tastes in books: some focus on plot, others on character development or language and imagery. Our books are usually supplied from Northumberland CC's Library Service. During lockdown we have used DropBox or purchased our own Kindle or paperback copies of chosen titles.
