Glittering Prizes

We are a friendly and enthusiastic reading group based in the centre of Cambridge UK. We meet monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, at 12 noon for 12:15 pm.at the The Alexandra Arms pub on the corner of Gwydir and Milford Streets. http://www.alexandraarmscambridge.co.uk/ We read books from the current year Prize lists, both shortlists and longlists. The Prizes are from all over the world and include the Man Booker, the Nobel, the Pulitzer, the Golden Dagger, the Costa, the Miles Franklin and the James Tait, just as examples. We supply our own novels, or share. Sometimes the current novels may be available from the library.
