Constant Readers

We are a group of 7 women aged from 50-75 living mainly in the Knighton/Stoneygate area of Leicester City. We meet monthly in each other\\\'s homes. We take turns to host and to choose the next read. We read mainly modern fiction, with some classics and occasional poetry. We like reading European and world fiction in translation. We have recently read Pearl Buck, Qiu Xiaolong, Antonio Tabucchi, A.D. Miller. We are currently reading Dickens\\\' Dombey and Son. We are a closed group, restricting numbers because we usually combine the evening meeting with a meal and wine. When a member leaves, we invite a replacement by agreement.
