Ashcroft Reading Group

A group of keen and chatty readers currently ranging in age from 40s to 70s. All female but not by design, we\'d welcome male readers too. We meet in the lovely Ashcroft Arts Centre in Fareham on the first Tuesday of each month from 2pm to 3.30pm. The group is led by Angela, member of Hampshire staff, and all books are chosen, collected and distributed by her. We mainly read contemporary fiction, often proof copies direct from the publishers, and sets from the library service. The group has been meeting since May 2007 with members coming and going over that time.
