Enjoyed reading this book and wanted to watch the movie afterwards..I found the Garden fascinating and wish I could experience it too
Tom is sent to stay at his aunt and uncle's house because his family are ill. One night he discovers a secret garden. Are the people in the garden real or is he hallucinating? Maybe they're ghosts.
This books reels you in and you will not want to put it down.
I recommend this book.
This book,
WOW!
Gripping and exciting...
Tom, sent to stay with his uncle and aunt while his brother is ill.
But when the clock strikes thirteen strange things begin to happen...
I really liked Tom in this story because he tried to find the best out of everything
I definitely would recommend because it was quite suspensful which made it really good and I was sad when it ended, In conclusion it was a great story
I like Tom - he's very adventurous. It was interesting reading a book from a long time ago.
I would recommend this, although it has some hard words!
I loved this book as it had detail and twists. I liked the fact that it included something with every character in the book and some of them took me by surprise. My favourite character is Hatty as she is adventurous and isn't afraid to do anything. I would recommend this to someone who loves a good story book.
This was a fiction book
I would recommend this to ghost lovers
It is great.
It is a good book. I'm reading it at school so decided to take it out from the library too! I enjoyed it and I enjoyed the way that it ended. We are going to be watching the movie which I think will be very interesting! I enjoyed the story because none of it makes sense until the end, so it makes you think a lot about it, but in a good way.
Cool book! I loved how Tom found the mysterious garden. I hope you'll read it soon!
I didn't particularly enjoy reading this book because i found it was a bit repetitive and for me there wasn't that much description. Personally it is not my sort of book.
In this book I like the feeling of adventure and (of course) mischief! My favourite character is Hatty.
This is a such a well-written and mysterious story. It leaves you hoping that you will suddenly find a sequel. It is unlike any other book I have read.
Gripping
This is an incredible adventure about a boy and his adventures in the midnight garden. I would recommend this to girls and boys over 8 who love reading adventure and mystery stories.
it was ok it just didn't get too the story
This book was very intriguing! It is about a boy who discovers a secret garden that is only active at midnight. He realises that he is going back in time and begins to dig deeper. An amazing book for mystery lovers and adventure seekers!
This is a great story about a boy who discovers a midnight garden and has lots of adventures with children from the past there. However, he is only seen by a girl called Hatty. Is he the ghost, or are they?... I would recommend this book to readers who love adventure stories
I think you should read it because it is boring at first but then it gets exciting you can't stop reading
I think you should read it because it is boring at the start but then it gets so exciting you can't stop reading!
it was hard to read
It was Adventurous and had a very shocking end
It was really good, especially the mystery of the girl called Hatty.
I can obviously see why this book has received a medal because honestly this book left me thinking about how the series of events happened. And why Tom was able to access the garden. While you are reading this book you really feel as if you are there. The ending leaves you astonished. Definitely a must-read!
This the best when you reading it you can picture it
