It’s really good
I love James and the centipede
It was good as by the time I got to the end James had made friends with insects.
This story is about James Henry Trotter who lives with his two mean aunts and he ends up going on an adventure like no other. He discovers a hole in a giant peach in his garden and crawls into it. What follows is a thrilling time with his new friends, Centipede, Miss Spider, Old Green Grasshopper, Earthworm, Ladybug, Glowworm, and Silkworm.
The story is really funny, we like that James’ life changed for the better.
It was really unusual that Aunt Spiker and Sponge got flattened and sadly died. Well, kind of happily. But there was no funeral.
I enjoyed reading this book, it was fun...
I like Roald Dahl books but not the bugs
I found this book a little scary with all big bugs, I think I will prefer this book when I’m older.
I liked when the peach starting growing, how they rolled into the sea, and when the sharks were going to eat them
I found this book captivating because it took me on a real adventure. It was also funny, especially when the cloud men appeared.

Because I like the giant peach
I liked this book. I thought James' aunts were not very nice. I was pleased when James made some friends inside the peach. I liked the bit at the end when they landed in America and the police helped them.
It got my mouth watering!

It was a nice book. I enjoyed reading about James' travels with the insects. The peach landed on the Empire State Building which was cool.
I liked every weenie single bit of it.
I liked the part where James meets the creatures and then they squash Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker
I loved all of the insects because they were so funny.
I would recommend to other people. I liked it because the bugs turned gigantic with peach seeds!
I like the insects and the descriptions of them. My favourite character was James because he was very kind and brave.
I loved this book
I like the character James the most because he is a genius. And like the insects also because they are adventures.
I like the old-green-grasshopper because he makes music with his own body.
I would recommend this in the library.
I would recommend. I liked the old green grasshopper the best.
I liked the bit when the juice dropped out the peach and the children drank it.
The book was amazing and really funny, sometimes though the book is a bit boring though
I loved this book especially the flying peach
