The Fall of Light
By Niall Williams
One family, five journeys – and a story that lives on long after the last page is turned.Tweet
Got lost in the luscious lyricism of the writing of this gorgeous novel in spite of the tragic subject matter (famine stricken Ireland in the nineteenth century). Niall William's manages to get across the awfulness of the situation, the grinding poverty and starvation, and still tell a truly lovely story. Highly recommended.
