I love this book because it had lots of information about volcanoes and lots of action in the story.
This book was great because it was about surviving in a volcano area. The best part of the book was when the volcano erupted. I would recommended this book to other people because it said real facts.
I really liked that it gave you lot’s of survival tips and was very exciting to read. The chapters were not to long to read one chapter a night.
I enjoyed this book because it told you that life is amazing no matter how dull it seems it can always be an adventure.
Great book
I liked it
A jungle book!
Charlie really likes challenges but he is obsessed with video games and is an expert on how to get on to the next levels. Charlie seems to think that sometimes the real world.
Exciting and Adventurous
Very adventurous. It was sometimes scary
It's one of the most adventurous books ever!
I thought it was an amazing book because it had lots of adventure and it made me feel like I was in the book. My favourite character was Bear Grylls because he showed me all the tricks you need in the lava and rocks.
I also give this a 5 out of 5 because it was adventure as well
It had lots of facts in it.
This book interested me a lot because it was a funny story with lots of facts in it. I learned lots reading it and can't wait to read the next one.
I liked the book because it was like a real adventure. My favourite character was Charlie, because at the start he was attached with Magma Quest and in the end he realised that a volcano has lots of resources.
This book was brilliant as it really taught you lessons as it went along and you got to know how Charlie was thinking. A great way to get children to think outside of video games and go on an adventure
Amazing book. Learned lots of ways to survive. I didn’t know there was ice between volcanoes.
The story is fictional but there are some great facts in it. My favourite character is Charlie because he goes on a great adventure. I really liked the book because there were volcanos and one exploded. The book is full of adventure and excitement. I would recommend this book to 6+ because there are some scary bits and the writing is a bit difficult to read. I am going to read The Safari Challenge next because its the next book in the series.
it was good
Great.
they were serching near a volcano
I have never read a book like this by Bear Grylls before but it was completely adventurous and exciting. They had to escape down a mountain, through a glacier and hide during a rock shower which was part of the eruption.
My favourite character is Bear as he is fearless and helps the kid who is stuck on the volcano, and tells him what to do in dangerous situations.
It was great!
I would recommend the book
NICE BOOK TO READ
Charlie is obsessed with video games. He tries to beat a level in magma quest. Charlie had a compass with 5 sides and magically gets transported to the peak of a volcano and realises that videos games are not as close to real life as he thought. He meets Bear who helps lead to away from the volcano and to safely.
This book took me a ling time to read but I enjoyed it more than any other book that I have borrowed from the library because I am a Beaver and Bear Grylls is the Chef Scout. I liked Charlie best in the book because he was the main character and he learnt how to survice on a real volcano and not just a computer game. I would DEFINATELY recommend this book to others, especially Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, because the moral of the story is 'In the wild you're stronger together'.
I would recommend to children that are addicted to challenges like video games.
It is about Charlie he is addicted to video games but Bear shows him that game challenges can be bit boring, they go to Vulcano with Bear Grylls and he shows that real life challenges don’t get boring l. My favourite character was Charlie.
Charlie loves a challenge, usually playing video games, getting to the next level.
He finds himself by an active volcano
