My reading group was lucky enough to to receive a set of this book from the publisher and what a treat it was. None of us had read any Jo Nesbo books before, but we all enjoyed it immensely, the character Harry Hole being the perfect Scandinavian rough edged detective, respected due to his uncanny knack to solve grisly crimes. Our only complaint from some members was that it was unnecessarily gory.
