This book shows that if you work hard there is a reward at the end.
This is a fun story that helps a boy understand that just because someone is old, it doesn't mean they haven't had an interesting life. There is lots of dialect that would be great for reading aloud.
I liked that it was about a little boy that wanted to do the Newcastle run but Harry Miller needed help to sort out his house so he can go to a care home. I liked the ending and the start and I liked the whole story.
Book about Great North Run
Lovely story, the old man remembering his wonderful run and meeting Veronica.
Wasn't thinking of this book being set back in the 1920's. I liked Harry best, he was the fastest whilst running from Newcastle South Shields. Hugely recommend this amazing book!
I read this book because I like running but I didn't really enjoy it that much.
This a great story.
Parts of the book were really funny.
This is a very good book it gives inspiration to children who like long distance running. Its a little bit sad in parts however the way its written makes it sound real which I really like. I recommend this book to anyone from age 7-10.
I loved the book it was just AMAZING!!!
Very nice book!

It's really cute and its not predictable. But I don't like the format of the book.
