Without a trace is a fast paced, exciting tale full to the brim with intriguing characters. We meet Molly on Coronation day 1953 helping out at the villages street party which she had helped organise. Molly is a pillar of the community, though at the age of 25 she is still living at home with her parents and works for almost nothing in the family’s butchers shop. When Molly’s best friend fails to attend the Coronation party with her daughter Petal she decides something must be wrong and despite the heavy rainfall, Molly gets on her bike and pedals to her friends cottage. In that moment Molly’s life is forever changed, as after making a ghastly discovery, and feeling let down by her local community, Molly sets off to London with nothing more than a letter to go on in the search for answers, and her dear friends kidnapped child. Without a doubt this book will hold you hostage until the very last page.
