All the way through I kept changing my mind about about it. I like books like that. I kept feeling sorry for different people throughout!! Well worth a read.

This is the creepiest book I've ever read. Each twist was as shocking as the last and it was devastating when you found out the truth. I felt like I could really feel what the mother was feeling.

The six months later bit ruined it for me at first since I could tell straight away who was saying it even though it was supposed to be disguised but then when it revealed the hidden details it got really creepy again and made it all better.

Very spooky little read.
Lots of twists so keeps you hooked right through to the end.
Definitely would recommend it.

A cracking good read! A real page turner. I kept putting the light on in the middle of the night to find out what happens next.

Anyone who loves the Scottish Highlands will feel as if they are part of the story althought the "Och aye the noo, whisky swilling depiction of Angus is insultingly sterotypical. I almost expected him to burst into the Skye boat song at one point - at least the Loch Ness Monster wasn't in it. Apart from that , I felt the characters were involving and the plot developed well. The ending was a bit obvious and hurried over compared with the very long drawn out "setting up"

All in all thoroughly enjoyable and I recommend it to teenagers and adults alike.
