This was a really good book! I liked how it was mysterious but still quite relaxed and chatty- compared to some other mystery books. You could really connect to the characters in the book as well! My favourite character was Flora as she was kind, inquisitive, clever and organised. She was a good friend too. I would definitely recommend this book!

I really enjoyed this book it was exciting, tense and well thought out. I liked the way it builds the tension sometimes slowly sometimes quickly. My favourite character was the famous Hollywood actress Betty Massino as she is kind, thoughtful and friendly as well as a brilliant actress. I like how the atmosphere changes when the diamonds are stolen and all through the book. I would certainly recommend this book.

This book was excellent and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a mystery book like me! This fiction book is about a Hollywood sensation, Betty Massino, who has come to star in the theatre down the road. The main characters, Piotr and his friends Andrew and Minnie couldn't be more excited! But when the famous actress's expensive diamond necklace goes missing, Piotr's dad, a security guard at the theatre, is a prime suspect. Piotr faces the threat of being sent 'home' to Poland. But with the help of Sylvie (who also stars in the theatre show) and her twin sister Flora, Piotr, Andrew and Minnie attempt to solve the crime or they risk losing their friend Piotr forever! I loved how this book explored friendships too.

This is a very good book but it isn’t fabulous- let’s just say it’s not a Agatha Christie crime novel.

I really loved this book, the person whom robbed the diamond was not whom I suspected. It is very inspiring,I am even writing my own book based on the twins of the story.

If you are at all interested then I will be returning it to Wallingford Library so you should find it there.

Happy Reading
