I really liked the dark story of this book
Excellent
I couldn't put it down!
Loved the female protagonist and the dystopian story line. Kat mess is someone many people can identify with in their own struggles in life! Great book!
Amazing
Brilliant story
I would recommend this book and the whole series.
It was very tense reading it.
I loved the action and fantasy of this story. It had an amazing storyline and was different to other books I've read!
Amazing
nerve raking and exciting couldn't put down the book
Gripping and well told
I love the this dystopian book so much as it is an incredible romance, actions and thriller! My favourite character is Peeta Mellark because he is really sweet, calm and gentle with everyone! I would definitely recommend this to someone as it is a classic book and one of the best dystopian books out there!
This book really hooks you. I enjoyed it a lot but not my usual style of book.
I would recommend this to people who like thrillers, cliffhangers, romance, and many more topics. This is a book about survival, when Katniss Everdeen takes her sisters place in the reaping of the Hunger Games (A Live Television where children are thrown in an arena to fight or die) and she and the other tribute from district 12 fool all of Panem. Very excited to read number 2!
Brilliant story!
A wonderful read for a group book club at work!
my favourte character was katniss everdeen i loved how good she was with her archery skills and how protective she was of her sister.
Extremely dark and gritty story.
A masterpiece.
Absolutely loved this book, it takes you on a journey of courage, family love and endurance which will make all readers keen to read the sequels.
It is a fictional book about a dystopian future and the main character of Katniss Everdeen is a great fictional role model.
I would recommend this book to everyone! If you like Harry Potter, you'll love this!
I found that this book was amazing and I cant wait to read the next books in the series.
i like it because it sows displays of courage and bravery and acts of selflessness
One of the best books I've ever read! Filled with frights, adventure, and suspense this book is for any survivor!
I really liked this book because I just wanted to keep reading it. It did make me cry but I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
amazing read one of the best books I have ever read great atmosphere and suspense with lots of turns and twists as well. This was fiction and I loved Katniss the main character she really showed girl power. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a thrilling and very exciting read well done Suzanne Collins :)
Good book
LOVED THIS BOOK! the mystery, suspense and brilliance of this book really keeps you engaged all throughout!
I thought the Hunger Games was an engaging book. My favourite character was Katniss as she has extraordinary skills with the bow and arrow and is very determined. I would recommend it to readers who like adventure, friendship and drama.
I enjoyed the details about the Hunger Games themselves, because this brings good suspense to the novel.
But I have to confess that I thought Katniss to be totally unlikeable. She's really brave and ressourceful, but I just couldn't get interested in her character.
An amazing book based on the hardships and outcome a rebellion could have and the consequences of what could happen. Love the description and the plot as there are many plot twists which is a real turner to the book and what you think could happen next.
It was amazingly terrifying but amazing at the same time! My favourite person was Katniss and I will recommend it anytime.
