As October is Black History Month, we have created a booklist of 125 brilliant books created by Black authors and illustrators. There is something for everyone with fantastic poetry, graphic novels, fiction and non-fiction titles.

Reading Groups for Everyone will be changing to our new Book Club Hub on 2 April 2025. As well as offering a more inclusive and welcoming experience for reading groups, we will be expanding news and offers to include opportunities for leaders of children’s and young people’s book clubs. This is to support The Reading Agency’s mission of getting more people fired up about reading because everything changes when you read.
