World Book Night 2012 nominations

The first World Book Night was held in the UK in spring 2011 and saw 20,000 people give away 1 million specially printed books – 40,000 copies of 25 brilliant titles.

The second World Book Night will take place on 23 April 2012. You can help by nominating your 10 favourite books – books that you most love to read, give and share – to be included in next year’s list. Nominations open on National Reading Group Day on Saturday 25 June and close on Wednesday 31 August at midnight, so there’s lots of time for you to nominate your favourite books, spread the word and get fellow readers to nominate books too.

All you have to do is register at www.worldbooknight.org. Once registered, you can enter and edit your 10 choices as much as you wish.

In September, World Book Night will release the top 100 books in alphabetical order. The final 25 titles will be released in mid-October.
