Win a set of books from the Big Jubilee Read

Would you like to win a set of brilliant books for your reading group?

We recently launched a series of online events to celebrate the Big Jubilee Read and we want to hear from you!

We’ve brought together 13 authors from the Big Jubilee Read booklist from across the world, from nine different countries in five continents and across seven time zones to talk about their work, their literary inspirations and their favourite books from the Big Jubilee Read list. Five are Booker Prize winners, four are Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and three are Commonwealth Writers’ Prize winners.

Find out about the events.

How to win

To be in with a chance of winning a set of books, you need to do the following:

1. Watch at least one (or more!) of the Big Jubilee Read events on YouTube.

You can watch it on your own or with your reading group. If you can’t all get together, arrange to watch them at the same time and set up a WhatsApp group or email chain to chat throughout.

2. Fill in a short survey about your experiences of watching the event

Click here to fill in the survey. Each member should fill this in themselves.

3. Send a photo of you and your group watching the event to [email protected] confirming that you have filled in the survey.

We’d love to see your group together watching the event, but if you’re watching it alone that’s absolutely fine! If you prefer not to be in the photo yourself, you can send a photo of your computer/TV setup to us.

That’s all! We can’t wait to see your photos and hear what you thought. Prize winners will be chosen at random and contacted to arrange delivery. The prize draw is run by The Reading Agency.

More opportunities to win

If your reading group has read any of the books on the Big Jubilee Read list together, tell us about your experiences on a short survey.

We hope you enjoyed using The Reading Agency’s Big Jubilee Read resources for your reading group. We would love to know about how you used them and what you thought about them. To do this we are planning a 60 minute online conversation with reading group members across the country who have used the resources and would love you to take part. As a thank you for doing so we can offer a thank you gift of National Book Tokens for your group. Once we know numbers interested we can fix a date and time suitable. Thanks very much and look forward to hearing from you. Contact [email protected] if you are interested in taking part.
