Launch of Reading Groups for Everyone

Reading Groups for Everyone is launched at a digital marketing event for librarians and marketeers held at CILIP on 15 March. CILIP is the leading professional body for librarians, information specialists and knowledge managers. Reading Groups for Everyone has been developed by The Reading Agency in partnership with the Society of Chief Librarians and with the help of 18 trailblazing library authorities who have been working with us to put the initial data on the website.

* Our ambition is that Reading Groups for Everyone becomes the place where anyone can come to find information about reading groups in their area.
* Where people who are running reading groups can find support, resources and evidence, plus offers and events their group can benefit from.
* And where everyone can learn more about the many ways reading groups can make a difference to people and their communities.

Our vision is to develop a vibrant community of readers and writers.
