BIG Reading Group Night at Maidenhead Library

If you live in or near Maidenhead get yourself down to Maidenhead Library on Wednesday 19 October to take part in the BIG Reading Group Night – a fun lighthearted evening for all book lovers featuring authors, quizzes, book swapping and lots of freebies. Authors attending so far include:

Emlyn Rees who has written several books with his wife Josie Lloyd including Come Together and We are Family and who has now written a pacey page turning thriller, Hunted.

Danny Miller – author of Kiss Me Quick a twisting and turning noir detective thriller set against the backdrop of bank holiday Brighton in 1964 admist rioting Mods and Rockers.

Aimed at reading groups anyone who would like to join a reading group and anyone who just enjoys a good read. Come along to Maidenhead Library at 7.30pm to share your favourite books and find new ones over a glass of wine. Tickets are £5/£4 with an advantage card.

The Winter season of the Radio 2 Book Club is out now, with brilliant brand-new fiction titles to discover. The BBC Radio 2 Book Club is on the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show. It features a wide range of titles and authors, recommending great reads from both new and much-loved writers, encouraging listeners to perhaps try out a genre they might not have read before, and share their opinions and insights on the titles and great reads they’re enjoying right now.
