Books and Biscuits

We are a staff and 6th Form student reading group at Wirral Grammar School for Girls. We meet weekly on a Friday at lunchtimes in the school library, we read books, discuss books, recommend books, and eat biscuits. We are a lively group and laugh a lot, even though we all have differing opinions on much of what we read. We have twice been selected as a Reading Group to shadow The Booker Prize, you can read our reviews of the 2020 shortlisted Real Life by Brandon Taylor on The Reading Agency website. Our author of the month for March 2024 is Daphne du Maurier and we are all reading different works by one of the most popular writers 20th Century Literature.
