Preschool Parents' Book Club

adults

Meets at Wallington Library on

Run by Stella Library service London Borough of Sutton - Libraries

This is a daytime book club for the parents of preschool children who like to relax (when they get the chance) with a good book. We meet generally on the first Friday of the month 1.30pm - 2.30pm in the children's area of Wallington Library where we supervise our children whilst discussing the previous month's books. Every month there are two books available to read: a short read (such as a Quick Read) as well as a normal book club size book. Members are asked to have read one of the books for discussing at the next meeting. ** Please note, we do not run as a traditional book club. Due to the nature of the group, book discussions are facilitated in consideration of how far other group members have read and to encourage the joy of reading. We run a replica virtual group via the goodreads site to encourage more in depth discussion on any of our books that our meetings may not have time for and to aid continuity for busy members who might miss out on attending meetings**

We meet at: Shotfield, Wallington, Surrey, SM6 0HY
