Heritage Reading Group

Our group has been established now for nearly 8 years since the 800 year old church we meet in every month was re furbished and made into a Heritage Centre on the banks of the iconic River Tyne. We are housed in St Mary's Church on the Gateshead side on the river (the more neglected side!) We have a mixture of ages who attended and all of our members are female but we hope to attract males in our next advertising campaign. All have been persuaded to broaden their reading horizons and feel more confident about reading varying genres. It's a great group to facilitate and we have shared a lot literarily and personally ! We hope to meet for years to come!
