Virtual group Meets on

Run by April Cursons Library service

Yeovil College Book Club meets once a month to discuss our current book choice. We provide all books, in both book format and on Nook e-readers, which are available to borrow. The club is open currently only to current students. Can't make meetings? We also have a thriving blog and Twitter feed which allows all members to contribute online, at any time. Good for building a positive digital identity, this digital book club encourages reviews, think pieces and all things bookish. Novels we've previously discussed include "Norwegian Wood" by Haruki Murakami, "And The Mountains Echoed" by Khaled Hosseini, and "The Fault In Our Stars" by John Green. We read a wide range of literary and genre fiction, classics and cult classics, and enjoy lively, engaging conversations and debates about what we read. We also have a full complement of previous texts available to loan to sub-groups in the local community, such as school libraries, CPD and workplace based literacy intiatives, etc. Please contact us for further details.
