A poetic work of fiction on the one hand, an autobiography on the other, The Life of Rebecca Jones is about one family’s passage through the twentieth century.

This novel reads like a biography. It's the story of the sister of 3 blind brothers made famous by a documentary. It's the story of the 3 brothers and of the rest of the family. It's the story of a Welsh rural way of life on the brink of change. It moves slowly and gently and gives the reader much to consider.
