Something was approaching the burrow. Something deadly. Something that made Sylvan’s fur bristle with fear …Knowing their lives are under threat, Sylvan and his brother and sisters have no choice but to abandon their burrow for ever. Together they set out on an epic journey along the Great River; but with dangers lurking at every turn, will they ever find a safe place to call home? Adventurous, exciting, and bursting with charming illustrations – this is a book you’ll want to treasure for ever.

A nice book about animals
A beautiful book set in the world of water voles. Tom Moorhouse immerses the reader in nature with all the beauty, perils and disasters along the way. This book would compliment a topic about climate change because the world of the river singers changes drastically due to flooding and loss of habitat.
The River Singers by Tom Moorhouse is a very intriguing book to read because there are so many moments when you are thinking “um, what’s going to happen next” and then 5here are so many adventures. There are 4 rats, Sylvan, Orris, Fern and Aven. They have to go on a journey to the other side of the riverbank and there are so many adventures ahead. There are also really cute pictures as well. I really recommend this book to someone else.
quite interesting
I loved reading this story as it is a calming book. It is the story of 4 water voles - Fern, Orris, Sylvan and Aven, and a rat called Fordur and their adventures. I would recommend it to people that get angry a lot or to people who like animal stories.
It was a breathtaking adventure. A book about survival. About losing others. About having to fight. I liked the book very much.
Great adventure story!!!!!!!!!! 😃 😃
I think you should read this book because it is really exciting and makes you want to keep reading. The pages turn themselves.
This book is really exciting and feels like it's flowing into you.
