A fantastic, sweet, funny and poignant book. I was lucky enough to stumble on an addition with great illustrations, which really added to my enjoyment. I love the way lots of the separate adventures linked and the was the most unlikely adults became friends and allies was heartwarming. The glimpses of life in a different country and time were also intriguing. I'd definitely recommend this - especially my favourite character Janus - brilliant!
