3.5 stars for this wordy and very detailed story of a block of flats in Istanbul and its residents. Stories within stories, back stories and anecdotes, it appears to be wandering all over but comes back full circle with a very tragic ending. If you like to read about people and the details of their lives this could be the one for you. All Turkish life is there.
