Chocolate Box Girls: Cherry Crush
By Cathy Cassidy
Cherry Costello’s life is about to change forever. She and Dad are moving to Somerset where a new mum and a bunch of brand-new sisters await. And on Cherry’s first day there she meets Shay Fletcher; with suntanned skin and sea-green eyes he’s the kind of boy who should carry a government health warning.Tweet

this is an amazing book about a girl who feels she has to lie to fit into her new family
My favourite part of the book is when Shay and Cherry get together because they're a perfect match and my favourite character is Shay because he is kind caring and understanding. I really like this book and I recommend it to girls aged 16-12
I liked this book because you learn something about even if you don’t liked someone you have to be nice to them. These are the characters I liked: Cherry and Honey because they where both different. This book is about a girl who came into a new family and wasn’t so sure about it. I would recommend this book to my friend.

It’s about Cherry who’s mum died and lives with her dad who falls in Love with Charlotte Tanberry so Cherry has 4 new step sisters, Summer , Skye , coco and Honey then they get married and live happily ever after
I liked this book because it explores the challenges of a new family and a new life for Cherry. She has to learn how to fit in with 4 sisters and a new stepmum. My favourite character in this book is Cherry because she is fun and the main character in this story.
The book is fiction so the person I liked best was the main character Cherry.I would recomend it to people that like drama and action books as it's full of both things.
This book is very good! When Cherry and her Dad move house from Glasgow to Somerset to live with the Dad's girlfriend, Cherry has to put up with 4 stepsisters. There is lots of drama in this book, which I enjoyed.
Cathy cassidy is one of my favourite authors. I really like the fact that each sister is different and even the twins have very different tastes.
Downright awesome, though I personally think Shay was the reason everything messed up
I loved this book because it talks about chocolate and I love chocolate. My favourite character is Chrysty. I recommend this book to my friends.
I really liked how Cherry got a new mum & sisters. My favourite was Shay Fletcher.
I liked this book.
I liked the bit when Cherry moved to a new family
This is a book about a Japanese girl who moves to England with her father and gets a new step-mum. my favourite character is Paddy, Cherry's dad, because he makes chocolate truffles for a living and is really kind to all of Cherry's new sisters, including Charlotte, Paddy's new girlfriend, Cherry's new Step-mum. Even though Honey, the oldest of Cherry's step-sisters, doesn't like Cherry as she apparently 'stole her Dad' Paddy is doing everything he can to try and help settle himself and Cherry into their new home.
This would be the perfect book for 9-10 year olds along with the other Cathy Cassidy books and is also great for people who are moving homes and settling with other people as it is inspiration for how to set an impression on housemates or new members of the family, but it is also just an amazing book in general.
I liked this book because it showed how people might feel inside. I gave this book 5 stars because it was amazing.
Really sad in parts of the book. I will recommend this book to others because it can actually help their natural life.
This is the first of the chocolate box girls and it is absolutely amazing it blew me away I was gobsmacked reading it.
this was a really good book . i recommend it 2 girls that like drama and family reunions!!!
This book demonstrates how you can have two mums and love them both just as much. This book revolves around Cherry Costello whose dad starts a chocolate business to live with his girlfriend in Glasgow. Cherry's mum dies when Cherry was 4 and since then she has had a tough start in life. Without realising, Cupid's bow has struck Cherry and Shay Fletcher who is Honey's boyfriend, Cherry's stepsister. Love has drawn them closer than ever and she and Shay Fletcher are now a couple. It's an amazing book and I'd recommend it as it shows that she can have two families and like them both the same. One is a dead family and one is alive.
This book is great. I recommend this book to 9+.If you like this book read the chocolate box girls series.
This book was amazing!
a lovely heart warming story about a girl who struggles to fit in to a new home with 4 new stepsisters and a boy who makes her heart flutter but is also the boyfriend of her meanest stepsister
