It was a very emotional read. There were a lot of links with the past and it was full of twists and turns. Definitely worth a read.

What seemingly starts as a thriller then turns into a really interesting and gripping study of parental neglect triggered by post-natal depression, before the story surprises you by turning back into a thriller! I read this over two nights which is testament to how much I enjoyed it and I will be recommending it to lots of people who I know will enjoy it too. A brilliant cast of characters and an insightful exploration as to the anxieties of new mothers that can so quickly morph into feelings of inadequacy and fear. There is a universal appeal to this book too as we get both male and female perspectives as the story flips between each character taking on a chapter, telling their side of the story as it develops. If you like authors such as Claire Mackintosh and J P Delaney then give this a go, you won't be disappointed.
