Set in a dystopian (but entirely plausible) future England, this is a real page turner with plenty of action, thrills and excitement. It's a great story, with an all-too-real post-Brexit premise - most of the the population have been 'chipped' and are traceable to the authorities. Except for the Outwalkers - groups of (mainly) children who have removed their chip and live on the margins of society, scavenging to survive and trying to escape over the wall to Scotland.
