This is the story of a sleepy town called Suds, where children turn grey and disappear without a trace… Poppy and Erasmus are certain there’s something peculiar going on, but when they discover the answers might lie in the dark and twisting woods, can they find the courage to creep inside and solve this riddling mystery?

This fiction book is a dark fairy tale based in a strange town called Suds. Poppy and her new friends want to find out what strange reasons are behind children going missing, loosing colour from their eyes and hair and becoming unable to speak.
This is a dark book and would need to be read with a parent for children under 8 but recommended for 9+ as a general age for the book.
I liked Misty best because she is funny and she is adventurous and sneaky. I also like Churchill the pig.
