A beautiful, moving and heartwarming tale about bravery, kindness and welcoming strangers, from the team behind The Building Boy.
Once, in an old rusty bin in an old rusty playground in an old empty park .

It was good because it involves a tortoise who tries to search for animals. I highly recommend it to some else and I think it's good for ages 3-10.
Nice book
You can do anything.
It was good book. I liked how the tortoise finally had friends and the lamps looked like stars
A bowl for a space helmet is funny
I liked when he thought the clocktower was a rocket and when he kept looking out across the park.
Great read. But she felt book was too dark

It was magical and happy.
I liked when the tortoise sailed on the water that was like the sea.
He was silly. He thought he went to the space station, but he was still in the park.

I would recommend this book because the tortoise traveled so far just to look for friends in the sky, but he found out they were in the trees.
I liked the tortoise as he did not give up on finding friends.
A good story and the tortoise had a very good imagination
This book is recommended for someone else
I didn't like it at the start because he didn't have any friends but at the end a mouse shared a home with the tortoise. I also thought it was funny when the tortoise thought a clock tower was a rocket.
A book which touches on some core values. Hope, compassion and perseverance - A great book for PSHE.
The illustrations by David Litchfield, like always, are engaging and allow children to lose themselves in them.
My KS1 class will love this book.

I liked the pictures the storyline was kind.
This is a fiction book about a lonely turtle who wants to find friends. I like it when the mouse helps him and lets him meet all of his friends in the woods.
It was adorable. I liked it because he thought that the stars in the sky were candles held by other animals.
Good bedtime read. I love anything to do with space! My favourite character was space tortoise.
It was fantasy because it was a jelly turtle
This book is just wonderful. The illustrations are thoughtful and carefully detailed. The scope for using ones imagination when reading or listening to this story, is just genius. The tortoise shows resilience and ingenuity at every turn of the page. I would certainly recommend this as a must have to your picture book collection.
This book is about a Tortoise and her journey to the sky. I like the pictures and I love the picture at the end.But it is too easy for me.However I recommend it.
We like how tortoise found a friend and tried something new. He kept trying to get to the rocket and the stars. There were stars not candles. We liked the drawings and we like looking fir the moon and stars at night too.
