This book is a pacey thriller with a structure of cutting between times in an intense two day period. The use of time markers rather than conventional chapters keeps the narrative moving rapidly. All four of the central characters are developed with layers that mean they become relatable. Nikesh Shukla has written a story that allows me as a reader to engage with some complex issues without having those issues drown out the people and story.
