I thought it was INSANE! And I know it was fiction, my favourite character was JET, DAVE, SKIPPER and GARRY. I would recommend it to YOU!
This book is funny. My favourite character is Dave because he can fly fast, even though he has a broken wing. I would recommend it to anyone.
It was a very adventurous and funny book. It is definitely one of my top 10’s. It has songs and speech bubbles.I love pigeons and animals.There was lots of animals in the pet shop.I liked every character except for the parrot and his friends.Dave was a very brave pigeon with a broken wing.My favourite part was when the dog said that she could speak pigeonese.
I liked all of the funny comments and jokes that Dave made throughout this book.
When i read the first book at school i really wanted to read the others.
Third book in the series and my favourite so far. The characters in the vets are brilliant and so easy for kids to imagine and be amused by (esp the cricket -ball face)
Introduction of Mickey Lightning and the dynamic of his relationship with Dave and his back story being a new depth to the story - works really well and gives another level to a still hilarious book
I liked Dave best because he comes up with funny jokes and the book series is hilarious

This book was very funny. I’ve read one of the other Dave Pigeon books, it was funny too. My favourite character is Dave Pigeon and his best friend Skipper. I am going to read the other Dave Pigeon books. I would recommend these books to my friends and anyone who likes pigeons!
My favourite character was Jet the dog, and I thought that the vet was funny. My favourite part was Jet trying to dress up as a human lady with Dave Pigeon and Skipper in the mobility scooter.
Is Dave pigeon really a racer? You would have to read it to find out! This book was hilarious and such a great read. I suggest it to all ages.

This is a very funny book about a pigeon called Dave and he gets taken to Pawsville vets to get a new wing with his friend Skipper. But then one night he gets challenged to a race with a parrot called Opprobrious Vastanavius the parrot in three days time... My favourite was Jet the three legged dog because of her terrible jokes. I would recommend it to children aged 7+. I would rate this book 4 stars because there is always room for improvement.

I liked Dave the pigeon he is really funny. This is about when Dave had to do a race with an evil parrot. I would definitely recommend this to other people who like funny books, its an easy read too.

This is a really good book to borrow from the library. You would never think Dave could ever win a race because of Mean Cat damaging his wing and also Dave never exercises. But you’ll be surprised. I love the Dave Pigeon series and would like another one to read.

I thought it was interesting that a pigeon loses and everyone says the pigeon wins because the parrot hit the pigeon before the end of the race.
