This story is about an unnamed young man from London on trial for a murder to which he pleads "not guilty". After his lawyer instructs him to leave out vital information during the trial, he takes a brave decision to sack him and do his own closing speech to the jury. Through this, Mahmood takes the reader on a modern day journey of gang violence, love, friendship, the criminal system and racial prejudice.

I would recommend!
