Being Miss Nobody

I would definetly recommend this book. My favourite charater was Aisla - good true friend. This book is heart warming.

A very well-written novel, quite a page-turner. A brilliant read not only for young people but also for adults.

This book shows that Bullies never prosper and also bring to light cyber bullying. The book also highlights a disability that cannot really be seen and how this is perceived by other people. There is also a strong family message with the bond between Rosalind, the main character and het brother Seb, who is fighting cancer.

This book was absolutely amazing and it talked about loss and emotions. The saddest part when her brother dies is deep. I felt grateful for all I have after reading this book. Miss nobody had little and was still strong.

My third-favourite book is Being Miss Nobody because it is about a girl called Rosalind who has SM(selective mutism) which means she is ,in a way, too anxious to talk.So,when people at her new secondary school(Manor High) bully her,she doesn’t know what to do.When she can’t take it much longer, she creates a blog called Miss Nobody.This becomes a place where she can truly share her feelings about the bullies at Manor High.

A very good book, though it was sad and emotional. I would Recommend this to older readers because it is full of bullying and cruelty. This is an amazing book!

I liked the books but I didn't really have a favourite character. Its a very good book which teaches people about SM.

a book about finding your own voice

I think that Being Miss Nobody is a great book. It's about Rosalind Banks, who has a special condition that means she can't talk.

This story is about how hard life is for Rosalind in high school, as she gets bullied for not being able to talk.

Rosalind also has a little brother called Seb, who is extremely ill.

In this book I love that just as that there is a glimmer of hope for Rosalind, her brother still has his ups and downs.

Overall, I would recommend this book for anyone who loves reading about real- life-experiences from a different point of view.

i would recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed jessica versus the universe

I loved this book and the characters within it will stay with me for a long time. The family portrayed in the story are so real and well developed by the author, it makes the unfolding storyline about the protagonists home-life really moving. I thought the issues raised within the book about grief, bullying, selective mutism and loss are all dealt with very cleverly. The book leaves the reader ultimately entertained but with lots to think about.

Liked the mix of sensitively conveyed issues faced by the main character and funny parts. Eerily realistic of some of the feelings children might experience in school.

It was a very gripping and heartwarming book

This book is very effective. it is emotional and explains things clearly. It is also very easy to understand. I enjoyed reading this book and I couldn't put it down. it portrayed life differently from other people and had a moral of:
'Speak out when you believe something is not right.'
'Bullying is always wrong no matter who you are.'
'Stand up for your self.'
It also shows that everyone has problems and obstacles that they can overcome and I love that. I recommend this book because it is a great role model, it helps you understand the importance of speaking out, believing in yourself, and trying your hardest.

I like the book because she has a brother called Seb and he is very ill and goes to the hospital everytime and miss nobody is a girl who can not speak and also her name is called Rosalind and has a bully called Masiey and she has lots of mean friends so what Miss Nobody did is that she started to blog and everyone loved her she also has a friend called Alisha.I think my best charachter is Rosaliand or if you want to called her Miss Nobody because I am quiet in class just like her and also has one friend.It interest me because the mood always changes.Yes I would recommed it to who is starting a new secordary school and is quiet and nervous.

Rosalind is a young girl who is about to begin secondary school. When she gets there, she finds it much harder than the other children because she has SM which means she can't talk in certain situations. She doesn't have any friends until a new girl starts at her school and she is asked to show her around. Soon Rosalind finds a new way to share her thoughts but her new blog doesn't turn out the way she had originally hoped.
I LOVED THIS BOOK! This was another book that I had to read for school and it was amazing! My favourite character was Rosalind and I also found her brother really funny. I really think anyone will enjoy this book. Maybe, if you know anyone that has SM, this book could help you see life through their eyes. I think this book can make you more aware of why people may be acting differently to you.
Remember, just because someone is different, doesn't mean you can't be friends with them and it is definitely not an excuse to bully someone.

It is an incredible book about speaking out where a girl called Rosalind ( who finds it hard to speak) creates a blog about standing up to the bullies in her new school. I would definitely recommend this

I really liked this book because it was the exact equivalent to what most children go through on their first day at most secondary schools. it was a brilliant story about speaking up to bullies.

'This is a book about speaking out from someone who can't'

Rosalind Banks has Selective Mutism. Or SM for short. She was first classed as officially wierd when she was 9. When she couldn't say her own name to her family's dotor.
SM means that Rosalind can't speak. Well, she can but, only to 4 people on the earth. Her Mum, her Dad, her brother Sebastian and her neighbour Mrs Quinney.
So when her brother gets The Illness and she moves away from the comfort and familiarity of primary to go to secondary school, she decides that she needs to do something.
Rosalind is consistantly bullied. So, with the help of Seb, she creates a blog:
Miss Nobody
And this blog helps The Nobodys fight back against bullying.
But then things go wrong...

You would love this book if you like stories about being bullied.
