It all starts innocently, with a couple visiting their neighbours next door for dinner. They leave their 6-month old baby at home, but take the baby alarm with them and pop back to check on her every half hour. Then the baby disappears. This is an involved story about kidnap, deceit, and murder with so many twists and turns that at times it was a bit far-fetched. But nevertheless I enjoyed it. A good read.

Oundle Library's Crime Fiction Book Group
This is my favorite book ever. it is a adult crime book. i like this book because there are lots of twists, it makes you think (wanting you to solve the case) and it is interesting.it would recommend it to teenagers and adults who like crime. crime isn't the sort of book i would read but when i saw and read the blurb i wanted to so it hooks you in. i could not put the book down. 5 out of 5!
