Astra’s ship is in trouble. There’s something very sinister lurking in the canteen. A cakey monstrosity on the war path. And then there’s the Poglites – a space salvage crew who have invaded the ship in their quest for spoonage!
Astra and her robot friend Pilbeam are the only things standing in the way of the ship’s destruction

I liked this book because it was funny and exciting when characters could be eaten by flying cakes instead of the characters eating the cake.

A quirky and exciting story about a young girl who has to battle killer cakes on her own with only a friendly robot to help! You'll never look at cakes in the same way again!! I really love books by Philip Reeve so I enjoyed this a lot. I'd recommend it for anyone who likes a good fun story.

It is a fiction because aliens and the nameless horror and cakes with hands and legs and eyes don't exist. I liked the Nameless Horror because it saved Astra's ship. I think I shouldn't recommend it to someone else because it was a bit scary.
