I'd never read anything by Stella Rimington before picking this up, but I'll definitely be searching for the rest of her Liz Carlyle series now. Published in 2012 this concerns a Russian intelligence officer who contacts MI5 and warns of the imminent cyber-sabotage of an Anglo-American Defence programme. The investigation soon morphs into a mole hunt and the story hops between London, Geneva and Marseilles and it was absolutely gripping. I loved it.
