This is an interesting read for anybody who loved the television series Call the Midwife. Christine and Jennifer had a traumatic childhood that left emotional scars which would last all their lives. Although trained as midwives, the sisters gravitated to the arts, but the long shadows cast by their childhood neglect lingered and they found out too late how great was their love for each other.
