I find this amusing. It's hilarious to read as well. As you read this book, you will know how much of a guide this is to a pirate who has never stepped foot on the water. As being much of a guide, it's also ridiculously funny. ( like pirates using cars and buses). This book is like a guide but for landubbing pirates on land, like people who want to be a pirate but on land instead.

My favourite chapter was called Chapter 7 Lubber Etiquette With Nugget. Nugget is Jim Lad's little sister and she has been learning her good manners like normal people. It was a really good book and it was funny because it had pirates, Vikings and ordinary people! I think everyone should read it even if it is a short book with 10 short chapters as it also has non-fiction too. Reading helps to learn facts, vocabulary and definitions no matter how short the book is!

This book was really good because it told you what lubbers are and what pirates looked like. It also told me what pets they had such as monkeys or parrots. My favourite character was Jim Lad because he tells you about history from long ago and pirate history. He describes what pirates look like and items they may own. Lubbers are also described and he compares the differences between the 2. This book was fiction. I really like this book and I would recommend it to someone who likes pirates.

It was funny and strange to see a normal town from a pirate boy’s point of view. I liked it.

This was good fun. I have the other pirate books at home and have just watched Pirates of the Caribbean at the cinema with my dad.
