Reviews
This was read by the Readers Group at The Lordswood Library in Medway.
The group had mixed feelings about this book.
The characterisation was excellent and family relationships were defined and the family came across as very likeable.
Justin's return to the family after 4 years of being kidnapped was very low key.
The description of a small American community and the reactions of its people were well described.
The first part managed to make us feel lethargy of heat and sweat and the intensity of their loss.
Did the author mean to pose so many unanswered questions, which lead to an animated discussion amongst the readers in the group.
