Elmer Day 2024 - digital resources

This year’s Elmer Day will be an extra special celebration for Elmer the patchwork elephant’s 35th birthday and Andersen Press are offering free downloadable event packs to help you join in the fun in your school or library! The pack includes activity sheets, craft ideas, games and lots of other resources.

Everyone is invited to join in the fun for Elmer Day, and while the official date for this year’s Elmer Day is Saturday 25 May, we invite you to celebrate at a time that works for you, whether that’s sharing Elmer stories and wearing colourful clothing throughout the week before, or hosting craft sessions during Half Term.

There are logos, social media assets and video content available to download on the Elmer Day site.

If you’re holding a public event, you can help people find out about it by uploading the details to the online Elmer Day event map.

We would love to see you enjoying the day on social media using #ElmerDay and tagging AndersenPress/elmerthepatchworkelephant and readingagency.
