Lye Library Family Reading Group
Meets at Lye Library on Saturday, 3rd week of every month, 11:00-12:00
We are a multi-cultural family group with members ranging from 4-9 years old. Children always attend with a parent, carer, grandparent or in some cases the whole family attend which is fantastic!
Our meetings always have a theme, the children are read a story by the librarian, we talk about our books from the previous month, make a craft and choose a new book to take home. Our books are always of the same theme but titles vary due to the wide age range. June sees us celebrating Child Safety Week combined with Bike Week and we are holding a special Road Safety Session which also includes a visit by the local fire service.
